Country Kitchen

Country Kitchen is right there on Plot No 258 on Main Street in Bapuji Nagar. If you know Bhubaneshwar, you know Bapuji Nagar is one of the busiest spots you can find. We are quite close to the Durga mandir, so during festival times, the whole street gets blocked with people and decorations. It is a loud, energetic part of town. The restaurant itself is a straightforward place. We don't have any of those fancy modern decorations, just tables and chairs where people can sit and eat. The kitchen stays very busy because we get a lot of office workers and shoppers coming in during their lunch breaks. It gets hot back there with the stoves going all day long. We have been in this spot for a good while, and the neighborhood has changed around us. You can see the wear on the floor from all the feet walking through over the years. We serve local food that people in Bhubaneshwar like, nothing too experimental. Our staff are mostly young men who are quick on their feet. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long when the lunch rush hits, but we do what we can. People mostly come for the convenience of where we are located. It’s a practical little eatery in a crowded part of the city, and we just keep the doors open and the food coming out as fast as possible.
