Bollywood

Bollywood is a restaurant located inside The Crown, which is a well-known spot in the Nayapalli area of Bhubaneshwar. We’ve been operating out of this space for some time now. As you might guess from the name, we have a bit of a theme. There are movie posters and decorations on the walls. It’s not meant to be a museum or anything, just a bit of fun for the people who come in to eat. The restaurant is usually full of a mix of people. Some are staying at the hotel and others live or work nearby in Nayapalli. It can get pretty loud when it’s busy, especially on the weekends when families come out for a meal. We have a solid team in the kitchen and on the floor. Many of us have worked together for years. We don't go in for fancy talk or complicated menus. We just focus on getting the food right and making sure there’s enough space for everyone to sit comfortably. The furniture is sturdy and the lights are kept at a level that feels right for a dinner out. We have the usual challenges of any city restaurant, like busy lunch rushes and the occasional equipment breakdown, but we just get on with it. It’s a straightforward business. We open up, we serve our customers, and we do it all over again the next day. It’s just what we do.
