Ankrud Family Restaurant

Our restaurant is located at Plot No-M-5/30, right on NH-5 in the Acharya Vihar area of Bhubaneshwar. Being so close to the highway means we see a lot of different people coming through. We get families from the local neighborhood and also people traveling who need a place to stop. It's a family-run place, so it feels a bit more personal than the big spots in the city. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The area around Acharya Vihar has changed a lot, but we are still here in the same spot. The kitchen is the heart of the place. We are always back there prepping for the next rush. It gets pretty loud during the dinner hour when the tables fill up. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or anything like that. We just have sturdy tables and a menu that people seem to like. It's a lot of work keeping everything clean and running right. My brothers and I are usually here every day making sure things are okay. We just want to serve a good meal so people leave happy. It's a simple goal but it keeps us busy from morning until late. We like being part of the community here in Bhubaneshwar. The NH-5 is always noisy, but once you are inside, it’s just about the food. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out.
