Zuberi Engineering Works

We are located out at Plot No-1801/17 in Phase-4th of the GIDC in V.U. Nagar. If you know the industrial estate, you know it’s a lot of sheds and trucks moving around all day long. Zuberi Engineering Works is just one of the many shops out here, and we’ve been at this spot for a good bit now. The space is mostly taken up by the machinery and the big workbenches where we spend most of our time. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit, because everything eventually gets a layer of grease or dust on it. We usually have the big shutter open to let some air in, though that also lets in the noise from the street and the other factories nearby. Our day starts early, usually before the rest of the town is fully awake, so we can get a head start on the projects before the afternoon heat kicks in. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Usually, if the phone rings, it’s a regular calling about a job we’re finishing up or a new piece of work they need. We just focus on the engineering side of things. There’s a lot of grease, a lot of metal scraps, and the constant sound of tools hitting steel. It’s a practical setup, nothing more and nothing less. We just try to get the work done right so we can head home at the end of the day.
