Silwani Mash Fpo Private Limited is based in Sai Kheda village. If you’re looking for us, we’re over at Ganpat Singh’s place. The village is a quiet spot, and most of us have lived here our whole lives. We set up this FPO because we realized that we could get better prices and share the work if we teamed up. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, especially with all the registration numbers and official paperwork you have to deal with these days. Ganpat Singh’s house serves as our main meeting point. You’ll usually find a few of us there drinking tea and discussing the upcoming season or how the soil is looking. We don't have a big staff or fancy computers; we just use what we have to keep things moving. Sai Kheda is a tight community, and that helps when you’re trying to run a business together. We know who is reliable and who knows the most about certain crops. We handle everything from buying seeds in bulk to figuring out the best time to take our produce to the market. It’s a very hands-on job. Sometimes we disagree on things, but we always talk it out until we find a solution that works for the majority of the group. We’re just trying to make a decent living from the land we’ve always farmed, and doing it as a company makes us a bit stronger than we were on our own.
