Seelam Reddeiah is the name on the door, and you can find us right opposite the railway station. Being across from the station means it’s always loud and there’s always people moving around. It’s a convenient spot for us because everyone knows where the station is. We’ve been here for a good few years now, watching the trains come and go. Our daily routine is mostly dictated by the foot traffic and the deliveries that come through. It’s a small operation, really just a few of us handling the day-to-day stuff. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to keep things pretty organized, though it doesn't always stay that way. There’s usually a lot of dust from the road and the tracks, so we’re always wiping down the counters. We deal with all kinds of people who stop in while they’re waiting for their train or just passing through the neighborhood. It’s a bit of a mix of everything. We don't have a big marketing plan or a polished image. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. Sometimes it’s quiet, and sometimes it’s a bit overwhelming with the crowd. We just take it as it comes and try to do an honest day's work. It’s a simple setup, but it’s ours and we’ve made it work for us all this time. We are usually here until the last train of the evening.
