Kathlal Taluka Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based in Sardarnagar, which is in the Aralkathlal area. Our address is house number 189. It is just a regular house where we handle all the company business for the farmers in the Kathlal taluka. We aren’t a big organization with a lot of staff. It is usually just a few of us sitting around a table trying to figure out the best way to move our produce. We’ve all been through the same struggles with the weather and the prices, so we decided it was time to join together. It took a while to get the registration and all the legal bits done, but we’re a proper company now. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. If someone wants to know what we do, they just come over to Sardarnagar and ask. We talk about the groundnut or whatever else people are growing this season. Sometimes the office is crowded and noisy, and other times it is quiet when everyone is out in the fields. We just take it day by day. Being in Kathlal, we are close to our roots and that is what matters most to us. We try to help out where we can, whether it is finding better supplies or just sharing advice. It’s a community effort more than a business one. We are just local farmers looking out for the interests of our own people in the taluka.
