Maruti Engineering Works

We've been running Maruti Engineering Works right here near Santram Mandir for quite a long time now. Our shop is in the Lal Darwaja area, which is always busy with people and traffic moving toward the temple. It’s a small place, but it stays filled with the sound of machines almost every day. My father was the one who actually set this all up years ago, and I grew up watching him work with iron and steel. Now, I’m the one handling most of the daily tasks along with a couple of helpers who have been with us forever. We don’t have any fancy office or a front desk. It’s just a workshop with a few lathes and drilling machines that have seen a lot of use. People from the neighborhood usually just stop by when they have something that needs fixing or a part that needs to be made. We don't do any big advertising because we’re usually busy enough with the local work. Some days are slow, while other times we’re working late into the evening to finish a rush order. The shop gets pretty hot in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. It’s a simple life and honest work. We don't promise anything we can't do, and we just try to be fair with everyone who walks through that door. If you need to find us, just look for the blue gate near the temple. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit through the roof, but we just move the machines and keep working. It's just part of being in an old building.
