Kariyakhera Farmer Producer Company Limited is a small organization we started in Kariya Kheda. Our office is basically at Dinesh Singh’s house in the village. We are in the Seshpur area. It’s a humble setup because we are all farmers first. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or a big staff. Most of the work is done by the members themselves. We decided to form this company so we could have a better say in how our crops are sold. It’s tough being a lone farmer these days, so being part of Kariyakhera helps us out. Dinesh Singh looks after the papers and the meetings. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. This is just us talking about our daily lives and our work. When we meet, it’s about practical things like fertilizer or the rain. We are just a group of people from Kariya Kheda trying to make things a little easier for everyone in our circle. Seshpur is where we belong and this company is our way of staying together. It’s not a polished business, just a local effort. We are honest about what we do and we don’t try to pretend to be something we are not. It’s just a farmer producer company for the people who live and work right here. We hope this helps us keep our farms going for another generation.
