Chamunda Engineering

If you head out to Phase-2 of the Iscon Industrial Estate in Chhatral, you’ll find us at Shad No.E-30. That’s where Chamunda Engineering is located. It’s a real industrial setting, lots of noise from machines and the smell of metal and oil in the air. We’ve got our workshop set up to handle all sorts of engineering tasks. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have metal scraps and tools spread across the benches because we’re usually right in the middle of a project. The roof gets quite hot during the summer months, but we just keep the big fans going and keep working. We’ve got a small crew of guys who really know their way around a lathe and a welding torch. Most of our day is spent fixing parts or fabricating something new for a client. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently wearing a welding mask. It's a practical way to run things. We’ve been in Chhatral for a good bit now, and we like the grit of the industrial estate. It suits the kind of work we do. We don't bother with fancy brochures or anything. People usually hear about us through word of mouth when they need something made right. It’s just honest engineering work at our shed. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix our own tools, but that's just life in a workshop.
