Laxmi Granites

Laxmi Granites is situated right on Trunk Road, specifically at Dr. No. 1-7-23. Being on the main road like this means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. It can be quite noisy with the horns and the engines, but it makes us easy to find. We have our slabs of stone set out so people can see them as they drive or walk past. The address, Dr. No. 1-7-23, is where we spend all our time, from early morning until the sun goes down. It is a very hands-on job. We are constantly moving pieces of granite, checking the edges, and making sure everything is where it should be. The dust from the road mixes with the stone dust, so everything has a bit of a gray tint to it after a while. We do not have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. If you come by, you are probably going to talk to us while we are right in the middle of moving a slab. It is a very honest way to work, just us and the heavy stone on Trunk Road. We have seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. We just keep the gates open and handle the business as it comes. It is a simple life, focused on the granite we have on hand. No big corporate meetings, just moving stone.
