Kamadhenu Granites

You have to head out toward Gurralapadu village to find Kamadhenu Granites. We are situated at Survey No. 220/Aa, right near the post office. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the city shops, but that’s where the space is. We have plenty of room here for the big blocks and the long slabs. The air is a bit clearer out here, though we still deal with plenty of stone dust. I’ve been working here long enough that I can tell where a piece came from just by looking at the flecks of color in it. We don’t have a lot of help, just a few of us who know how to handle the machinery. It’s a quiet village mostly, and we fit right in. We keep our inventory out in the open where the rain hits it. It actually helps keep the slabs clean. When someone drives out this way, they usually stay a while to look through everything. We don’t rush them. There’s no point in rushing when you’re picking out something that’s going to last forever in a house. Sometimes we sit by the post office and chat with the neighbors when the work slows down in the afternoon. It’s a simple way to run a business. We have the stone, we have the space, and we just do what we can to stay busy without making things complicated. If the gate is open, we are usually here working on something or other.
