Ahalya Granites

Ahalya Granites is located over in Prakash Nagar at Door Number 4-2-72. It’s a busy little neighborhood with people always coming and going. We’ve set up shop right in the middle of it. The street can get a bit narrow when the delivery trucks come through, but we make it work. Most of the people around here know us by now. We have our granite slabs lined up where people can see them as they walk by. It’s a simple setup, really. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. Just a local business trying to provide stone for the houses being built around here. Our office is just a small room in the front of the building. It’s usually got some dust on the furniture because of the stone cutting, but that’s just part of the job. We spend our days measuring slabs and talking to contractors who need materials for their projects. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat while we’re working. It feels good to be part of Prakash Nagar. We don’t do anything too complicated. We just get the stone in, cut it if needed, and send it out. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. There’s always a new project starting somewhere nearby, so there is usually someone looking for a decent piece of granite for a countertop or a floor.
