Goutham Sai Granites

Down here in Mudigonda, specifically at Plot Number 25/12 in Gokinepalli, is where we run Goutham Sai Granites. It's a bit of a trek for some, but we’ve been at this location for a good bit now. Most of our day is spent out in the sun or under the shed dealing with granite blocks. They are heavy and take a lot of effort to move around properly. We don't have a big corporate team or anyone in suits. It’s just us and the machines. We spend a lot of time checking the slabs for any weird cracks or spots that shouldn't be there. Some people come by looking for something for their kitchen, others need a lot of stone for a bigger building. We just show them what’s available in the yard at that moment. The weather out here can get pretty hot, which makes the work tiring, but that’s just part of the job. We keep a simple log of what goes out and what comes in. It’s a bit messy with all the stone dust and the water we use for cutting, but it's a real work site. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the time, we’re just making sure the granite is ready to go. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here, but we like the routine and getting the orders ready.
