Uthayan Tex

Uthayan Tex is located at 16/52 South Kasim Street. It’s a narrow street, and sometimes it can be a real struggle to find a parking spot nearby, but we’ve managed to stay here for quite a while. The shop is small and usually filled with stacks of fabric and boxes. It’s not the kind of place that looks neat and tidy, because we’re always in the middle of something. We have a few machines running and a couple of people always busy at the tables. We don’t really do fancy meetings or have a polished front desk. If you walk in, you’re likely to see us working right there in the front. It’s just how we’ve always operated. We like being on South Kasim Street because it’s close to everything we need. Most of our neighbors are also doing their own thing, so there’s a sense of everyone just working hard. We don't spend money on big signs or advertising. We just figure that if we do the work right, things will take care of themselves. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a practical way to live and work. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep Uthayan Tex going and do right by the people who rely on us. It’s a humble place, but it works. We’ve been here for years and we know the street like the back of our hands.
