You can find Anurog Fabric over at 2-C in Bharadhi Nagar West. It is a straightforward kind of place where we deal with all sorts of cloth and textiles. The shelves are packed right up to the ceiling with rolls of fabric, and sometimes it feels like they might all come tumbling down if you pull the wrong one. We spend a lot of time measuring out meters and cutting things for customers who come in looking for something specific. The scissors are always getting lost under a pile of cotton or silk, which can be frustrating when you are in a hurry. It is a bit of an older building, so the walls have some cracks and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it doesn't bother us much. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger and the phone, and that’s where most of the business happens. In the rainy season, we have to be careful about the dampness coming through the door. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is a good thing for us. We don't do any big marketing or have a website that works properly. People just know we are here in Bharadhi Nagar and they stop by when they need a few yards of something. We just keep track of the stock and try to stay organized, even when the shop gets crowded with new arrivals.
