Colour Weaves

You can find Colour Weaves at 328, Pandiyan Nagar, right on the Chinnandankoli Main Road. It’s a busy area, and there’s always something going on outside our doors. We focus on weaving and fabrics. The building we are in is practical, with enough space for our looms and the stocks of yarn we need to keep on hand. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of dust from the threads and it can get quite warm inside during the afternoons. We are just a group of people who know how to weave and how to manage a small production unit. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or a big marketing team. Most people hear about us from other businesses in the area. We’ve been on Chinnandankoli Main Road for quite a bit now. We know the other shop owners and the tea stall nearby. Our days are pretty routine. We start early, check the machines, and get to work. It’s a lot of manual effort and keeping an eye on the details. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to fix it ourselves. We don't make any grand claims about being the biggest or anything like that. We just do the work we have and hope for the best. It’s a steady, local life and we’re used to the pace of it. We keep things grounded and just focus on the loom.
