Dinesh Texports

Our company, Dinesh Texports, is located at 7, West Gowripuram, right near L.G.B. in the Sengunthapuram Post area. It’s a busy little corner of the world. The building isn’t anything special, just a solid place where we get the textile work done. Being near the L.G.B. landmark makes it easy for the delivery drivers to find us, which is helpful. Inside, it’s usually quite loud because of the machinery and the fans going. We have piles of fabric everywhere and people constantly moving back and forth. It’s a lot of manual labor, checking the threads and making sure the weaving is okay. We don’t use any fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just textiles. We start our shift pretty early while the air is still a bit cool. By noon, it gets quite hot, and we all slow down a little bit. We’ve got a small break area where we keep a water cooler that is always in high demand. The walls are covered in old calendars and some notes scribbled directly on the plaster. It’s a bit of a mess, but it’s our mess. We don’t have a big corporate strategy. We just look at the orders for the day and try to get them finished before the sun goes down. Most of the folks here grew up in the area and have been doing this forever.
