Sri Viswanathan Textile

You can find Sri Viswanathan Textile at number 5 on C.A.K. Road, specifically at the 2nd Cross. It is a busy little corner of the world. We have been working here for quite a while now, dealing with all sorts of textile goods. The building is older and has its quirks, like the door that sticks in the rainy season. We don't have a lot of space, so every inch is used for storing fabric or workspace. It is mostly a family-style operation where everyone chips in. We don't use any fancy management techniques. We just talk to each other and get the orders filled as they come. The traffic on C.A.K. Road can be a bit much during peak hours, which makes loading and unloading a bit of a challenge sometimes. We have to time it just right so we don't block the road. Most of our customers are regular people from the area who have been coming to us for years. They know we are just a plain textile shop without any bells or whistles. We spend our days measuring out cloth and making sure the inventory is correct. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we know how to do and it pays the bills. We don't have big dreams of expanding across the country. We are quite happy just being a part of this local community and doing our bit for the neighborhood.
