Sree Baba Fabrics

Sree Baba Fabrics is tucked away at number 633, near Veera Mahal in Allwin Nagar. If you are coming down Koval Road, you will find us easily enough. We have been here selling fabrics for quite some time now. The shop is full of rolls of cloth piled up high on the shelves. It gets a bit crowded inside when we have a few customers looking at different materials at the same time. We spend most of our day measuring out lengths of fabric and cutting them for people who want to make their own clothes or curtains. The light in the shop isn't the brightest, so we often take the cloth outside to the doorway to show the real color under the sun. We are not a big fancy showroom with air conditioning and glass doors. It is just a practical place where we work hard and try to give people what they are looking for. Sometimes the fabric deliveries come in late at night, and we have to stay to unload the truck. Allwin Nagar is a lively place with plenty of noise and people moving about. We know the other shopkeepers around Veera Mahal, and we often help each other out when someone needs change or a hand moving something heavy. It is a simple life, focused on textiles and making sure we have enough variety for the locals who stop by. We just handle the daily work as it comes through the door.
