Pon Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School

Pon Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School is out in Manmangalam, Karur. If you know the Sf No 175 area, that’s where you’ll find us. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which is nice because there’s more room to breathe. We have senior secondary classes, so the students are a bit older and more serious about their work, or at least they try to be. The sun in Karur can be really harsh, so the playground gets very dry in the summer months. We have a few trees that give some shade, but mostly it's just open space. The building is quite large and has plenty of windows to let the air in. Inside, things are pretty straightforward. We have the usual labs and classrooms. Most of the people working here are locals who have been in education for years. We don't really go in for anything flashy. We just make sure the students have their books and the teachers have their chalk. The morning assembly is usually when it’s coolest, and then everyone heads inside for the day. It’s a quiet routine, really. We spend our time checking schedules and making sure the exams are organized. It’s just a place where people come to learn and work without too much fuss. We try to keep things simple for everyone involved in the daily school life.
