Nirmala Convent School

You can find us in Karur. We’ve been here at this location for quite some time now. It’s a convent school, so things are usually kept pretty orderly, or at least we try to keep them that way. The mornings are the busiest time, with everyone arriving at once and the assembly happening out in the front yard. We have a good number of students from all over the town coming in by bus or walking. The buildings are straightforward—stone and concrete with big windows to let the air in. We spend our days going from one classroom to another, checking on how things are going. It’s not a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on the books and the daily lessons. The staff room is always a bit of a mess with papers and textbooks piled up on the tables. During the breaks, the noise from the playground is quite loud, but that’s just how schools are. We try to keep the grounds tidy, though the wind often blows leaves and dust everywhere. It’s a regular part of life in Karur. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything; people just know we’re here by the name. It’s a simple, honest place where kids come to study and spend their day until it's time to head home.
