Lynx Impex

Our office is over at No. 23-A on the 11th Cross in Sengunthapuram. It’s a quiet enough street, though you get the occasional delivery truck trying to turn the corner. Lynx Impex is where we spend most of our time. It’s a simple setup with a few desks and a lot of samples hanging on the walls. We deal with various items, mostly related to the textile trade that this area is known for. The building isn't brand new, but it serves its purpose for what we do. My morning usually starts with checking the messages that came in overnight. There’s always someone asking about a shipping date or a sample price. We have a small group of people here, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s packing boxes or typing up invoices. We don't have a big corporate structure. If something goes wrong, we just talk it out and fix it. The fan in the corner squeaks a bit when it’s on the high setting, but we’re used to it. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at our desks. We stay pretty busy throughout the year, especially when the export seasons are in full swing. It’s just a regular local business. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure our clients get what they asked for without any unnecessary drama. That’s pretty much the whole story of our day.
