Akshaya Export Karur

We are located at No-3 South Madavilagam Street in Karur. This part of town is usually pretty active, especially with the temple nearby. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it is mostly boxes and fabric samples. Since we are Akshaya Export Karur, a lot of our time is spent on the phone or sitting at the desk dealing with shipments. It’s not all exciting work. There is a lot of counting, labeling, and double-checking lists. Sometimes we find mistakes and have to start all over again. Karur is a big hub for textiles, so there are always people moving cloth around. We aren't a giant factory. We are a smaller team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One minute you might be checking an email and the next you are helping move a heavy crate. The street outside can get cramped with scooters and delivery vans. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when things calm down a bit. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just try to get the orders ready on time and hope the shipping goes smoothly. It’s a lot of practical, daily tasks that keep us busy from morning till evening. We’ve stayed at this same spot for years because it works for us and we know the neighbors well. It’s just a normal way of working.
