Aaase Texwell

Aaase Texwell is situated near the Anbu Apartments on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Bharathi Nagar. If you look for SF No. 243/1, you’ll find us there. It’s a busy area, and being near the apartments means there is always something going on nearby. Our workspace is pretty straightforward. We don’t have much in the way of decorations. There are just rolls of fabric and various machines that we use daily. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what we produce. It’s a lot of standing and moving around. My back usually aches by the end of the day, but that’s the nature of the job. We have some fans running to keep the air moving, though they just mostly move the dust around. The staff here is small, just a handful of us who know the routine. We don't bother with corporate meetings or anything like that. We just talk over the machines or during lunch. The entrance is a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when moving big items. We've been in this part of Karur for a while and the locals know what we do. We just take it one day at a time, handling the textile orders and making sure the machines are oiled. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life and we're used to it.
