Aaa Textiles Pvt. Ltd. is located right on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Bharathi Nagar. We are at 157-C, which is a busy part of Karur. There's always traffic outside and people walking by. Inside the building, things are a bit more focused. We deal with all sorts of textile work. It’s not a very quiet place because of the equipment running, but we like it that way. It means we’re busy. The floors are a bit dusty from the cotton fibers, no matter how much we sweep. We have a few rooms dedicated to different parts of the process. Some are for storage and others for the actual production. We keep a kettle in the corner for making coffee during the afternoon slump. Most of us have been here long enough that we don't need to look at the instructions anymore. We just know what needs to be done. The building has high ceilings which is good for the heat. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time parking on this road because it gets so crowded. We just make it work. We don't have any fancy awards on the wall or a big glass front. It’s just a place where we work with textiles every day. We focus on the cloth and making sure the piles don't get too high before they go out.
