You can find us at number 3 in Village Padhana. We are right near the Shiv Mandir, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. Padhana is in the Nilokheri tehsil. We are a bunch of vegetable farmers who decided to form the Padhana Vegetable Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s not a fancy setup. We have a small room where we keep our records and meet up. Being near the temple means there is always a bit of activity around. We spend most of our time out in the fields growing vegetables. When we aren't farming, we're here trying to figure out the business side of things. It’s a lot of work to manage both. We don't have a marketing budget or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk like we always have. The vegetables come first, and the company stuff comes second. Sometimes the office is a bit of a mess with empty crates and seed bags. We aren't trying to hide that. It’s just how it is when you’re actually doing the work. Nilokheri is our home, and we’ve been farming these lands for generations. We just wanted to organize ourselves a bit better. We don't use words like "excellence" or "innovation." We just talk about the rain, the pests, and the harvest. It’s a simple life, and we keep our business simple too. Just some farmers at Padhana doing what we know best.
