Hassangarh Progressive Farmers Producer Company Limited is based at House No 629 in Ward No 14. This is the home of Sushil Kumar, who is the son of Sh Udayvir. We work right out of Hassangarh (118). It is not a commercial office; it is just a regular house where we handle the company business. We thought it was better to keep things close to home so everyone could feel comfortable coming by for a talk. We have a small room with a table and a couple of chairs for when we need to do the accounts or talk to the members. Most of the time, we are out in the fields or in the courtyard. We are a group of farmers from around the area who wanted to try some new ways of doing things together. That is why we called it progressive, though we still do a lot of things the old way too. It is a lot of work to keep everyone organized, but it is worth it. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure we can sell our crops for enough money to keep the families here going. Sometimes the house gets very crowded with people, especially when there is news about the crop prices. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. If you want to find us, you just come to Ward 14. We are just real people doing our best with what we have for our community.
