Piara Agro Indus. is located right at Namasty Chowk. It is a landmark area, so most people don't have much trouble finding us. The office and the industrial space are pretty much one and the same. It is a place filled with the sounds of work being done. We handle agricultural industry stuff, so there is always some kind of equipment being moved or repaired. The ground is concrete and usually has a few oil spots or scuffs, which is expected in this line of work. We have a small area where we do the billing and take calls. It’s nothing special, just some metal desks and a clock that’s usually a few minutes fast. We start our days early because that’s when the light is best and the air is still a bit cool. There are a few of us here who have been working together for a long time. We don't bother with corporate talk or anything like that. We just focus on the machines and the orders. If something breaks, we fix it. If an order comes in, we get it ready. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We’ve been at Namasty Chowk for years and we’ve become part of the daily scenery for the people living and working around here. We keep a pot of coffee going most of the morning and anyone who stops by is welcome to a cup if we aren't too swamped.
