Mohit Rice & General Mills

We are over at Shop No-136 in the New Grain Market, operating as Mohit Rice & General Mills. Being in the grain market means we are right in the middle of everything. It’s a busy spot and there’s always a tractor or a truck blocking the way. We’ve been in this shop for quite a while now. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work for what we need to do. We deal with rice and other milling work as it comes in. The New Grain Market is a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it, but once you find Shop 136, you’ve found us. We aren't the type to put on airs or act like we are bigger than we are. We just do the work, keep our heads down, and try to get through the day's tasks. The floors are usually covered in some kind of grain or husks, and that’s just how a mill should be. Sometimes it gets frustrating when the market is overcrowded or the power goes out, but we just deal with it. It’s a local operation, run by people who live nearby. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on being here and doing the job day after day. If you’re walking through the market, you’ll probably hear our machines before you see us. That’s just how it goes at the mill and we are okay with that.
