Kabir Rice & Oil Mills

The Kabir Rice & Oil Mills is located at Plot No-D-51 in the Industrial Area. It is not the quietest place to spend your day, that is for sure. We have big machines for pressing the oil and other ones for cleaning the rice. The whole area around Plot No-D-51 is filled with other factories and workshops, so there is always a lot of heavy trucks moving in and out of the gates. I spend most of my time checking the oil levels and making sure the rice isn't getting stuck in the hoppers. It is a dusty and greasy job, but it is steady work. The building is a big metal and concrete shell that gets really hot when the sun is beating down on the roof. We usually take our breaks sitting on some empty bags in the shade of the loading dock. There isn't much to see out here in the Industrial Area other than other buildings just like ours and a few small tea stalls where the drivers congregate. We produce a lot of stuff here, but we don't really have a front office or a place for guests. If you come by, you'll probably find us covered in work clothes and busy with a wrench or a shovel. It is just a basic mill doing its thing day after day. We don't worry about how things look as long as the machines keep turning and the oil keeps flowing into the drums.
