Jai Bharat Rice Mills

Our mill is right in the heart of the main market in Taraori, along Lalyani Road. It’s a very busy spot, especially when the season starts and the trucks are lining up. Jai Bharat Rice Mills has been part of this landscape for years. Taraori is known for its rice, so there is a lot of pressure to keep things moving. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here, just the old-fashioned work of drying and milling the grains. The yard is usually full of piles of paddy, and there's a constant hum from the engines. Sometimes the weather doesn't play nice and we have to rush to cover everything up. My clothes always have that light coating of rice dust by the end of the shift. We talk to the local traders every day and try to keep things simple. There’s no big marketing team here, just a few of us making sure the rollers are set right and the bags are weighed correctly. The road outside can get quite dusty, and sometimes the traffic makes it hard for the trucks to turn in. But we manage. It’s a practical business. We’ve stayed in this same spot in the district because it’s where the action is. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and the community fed. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the sign on the gate and the sound of the machines running.
