Govind Rice Mills

Govind Rice Mills is tucked away in Village Barsat. We are situated very close to the local Gurudwara, which is a nice landmark for anyone trying to find us. You can often hear the sounds of the prayers and the music coming from there, and it brings a bit of peace to our workday. The mill is a place of constant activity. We are always busy with the rice, from the moment it arrives on the trolleys to when it is finally bagged up and ready to go. Village Barsat is a traditional place where agriculture is at the heart of everything. We know the farmers who bring their grain to us, and we have built up a lot of trust with them over the seasons. The mill building is an old one, with high ceilings and big doors to let the air in. We don't have any fancy marketing slogans or a big corporate board. It is just us, the machines, and the rice. Some days the work is tiring, especially when the harvest is in full swing and we have to stay late to finish everything. But we like the routine of it all. We have a small yard where the trucks park, and there is usually a dog or two sleeping in the shade. It is a quiet life in the village, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
