Goel Rice Mill

If you are driving down the Karnal Kaithal Road, you will see Goel Rice Mill right behind the petrol pump. It is a landmark that everyone around here knows. Having the petrol pump right there is handy for the trucks that come to pick up the rice. We spend most of our time out in the shed or in the small office near the entrance. The air is always thick with the scent of grain, which is something you just get used to after a week or two. We have a few big machines that take up most of the space, and they are pretty loud when they are running at full capacity. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure to show people. Usually, someone just hears about us from a neighbor and stops by. We deal with a lot of local farmers who bring their crop in from the surrounding fields. The road can get very busy, and sometimes the dust from the passing traffic blows into our yard, but that’s just life on the Karnal Kaithal Road. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill in the state, just a reliable one where people can get their work done. Our staff is mostly local guys who live a short bike ride away. We take our breaks together and talk about the weather or the local news. It’s a plain, hard-working life.
