Gangadwar Producer Company Limited is based over in Ladpur Khurd, near Gurukulnarsan. We are located at Rishipal’s place. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy with the work we have. Ladpur Khurd is a good community, and being right there helps us stay connected to what’s happening on the ground. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and find whoever is around. Rishipal is usually there to handle the main stuff. We deal with producing and organizing things for the local area. It gets pretty hectic sometimes, especially when the seasons are changing. We aren’t really into corporate talk or big presentations. We just sit down and talk about what needs doing for the day. Sometimes we have tea and discuss the latest news before getting into the paperwork. The office is just a part of the house, really. It’s how we prefer to keep things—simple and low-cost. People in the village know us, and we know them. We aren’t trying to grow into some huge company; we just want to do our job well in Ladpur Khurd. It’s a lot of manual tracking and local coordination. If the weather is good, we are usually out and about. If it’s raining, we’re inside catching up on the logs. That’s just how it goes here for us. We keep our heads down and do what needs doing every single day.
