Fatehgarh Viran Farmer Producer Companylimited

Our little office is at Shop No. 2 in the village of Dallapo, over in Behrampur Bett. It’s not much more than a small shop where we keep our papers and meet up. We are a farmer producer company, which really just means a bunch of us from the Fatehgarh Viran area decided to work together. Farming alone is hard, especially when you're trying to sell what you've grown. We found that coming together at this shop makes things a bit easier to manage. The village life here is pretty straightforward. We wake up early, head to the fields, and then maybe spend some time at the shop in the afternoon. You’ll usually find a few of us sitting there, drinking tea and worrying about the rain or the latest government rules for crops. The shop is a bit dusty because of the tractors passing by on the main road, but it’s our central spot. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just know our crops and we know each other. It takes a lot of patience to run a company like this when you're used to just being in the field. We’re learning as we go, trying to help the local families get more for their hard work. It's just us, some farmers from the village, trying to make a go of it. We keep things plain and simple here.
