You can find us at 9/24A in Chellamkonam, which falls under the Kappiyarai P.O. It’s a bit of a quiet, out-of-the-way location, but we like it that way. Shalom Exports And Imports is basically just a few of us working from this building. Since we are in Chellamkonam, we are surrounded by greenery and it feels a lot different than working in a big city. The air is better, even if the internet can be a bit slow sometimes. Our office is a very basic structure with just the essentials. We don't have a lot of people on staff, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. We spend our mornings checking on logistics and making sure the trucks are scheduled properly. If it rains heavily, the roads can get a bit messy, which occasionally delays our shipments. We’ve learned to take those things in stride. We deal with all kinds of goods for both import and export, so every day is a little bit different. We don't bother with fancy marketing or trying to sound more important than we are. We just talk directly to our contacts and keep things moving. The village life is peaceful, which helps us stay focused on the details of our work. We aren't looking to grow into a massive corporation; we just want to do our job well and go home. That is how we have always operated.
