Fathima Fish Net

We are located at number 6 on the Kaniyakumari By Pass Road in the Thirunelveli District. Being near the bypass means we get a lot of people stopping by as they are traveling through. It is a good spot for a fish net business because we have plenty of space for vehicles to pull over. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have large rolls of netting and coils of rope everywhere you look. The sun can be really strong out here, so it gets quite hot inside the workshop during the afternoons. We usually have the fans going full blast, but it doesn't always help. Most of our work involves cutting and measuring nets for the local fishermen who come in from the surrounding areas. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for a long time and they really know their stuff. We don't bother with any fancy displays or clever advertising. We just put our name on the front and let the work speak for itself. Sometimes we sit outside on some old crates during our breaks to watch the traffic go by on the bypass. It is a simple life and the work is honest. We take pride in the fact that we can help people get what they need so they can go out and do their jobs. It’s just us doing what we know best in this little corner of Thirunelveli, year after year, without much change.
