Sevenseas International

Our place is located at 15/90A on Harbour Road in Chinnamuttom. Being so close to the water, you can always smell the salt in the air and hear the gulls. Sevenseas International deals with a lot of stuff coming in from the boats. It is a busy spot, especially in the early hours when the fishermen are returning to the harbor. We spend a lot of time on the docks or in our small office nearby, trying to get everything sorted before the sun gets too hot. It is a lot of physical work and quite a bit of shouting over the sound of the waves and the boat engines. We do not have any fancy office furniture here; it is mostly just plastic chairs and some old wooden tables that have seen better days. We handle the export and trade side of things, so there is always a lot of coordination needed with the shipping agents and the truck drivers. Some days the weather is bad and the boats cannot go out, which makes things very quiet around the office. We use that time to fix the equipment or clean up the storage area. It is a tough way to make a living, but it is what people in Chinnamuttom have done for generations. We are just a small part of that tradition. We are just local people working with the sea.
