X Pa Mens Parlour

This is a men’s shop located in F Block of Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur. The exact number is 128/91. We are pretty close to Site No 1, which is a common landmark people use around here. It’s a straightforward mens parlour. No bells and whistles. I’ve lived in Kanpur my whole life and Kidwai Nagar is a good, solid neighborhood. The guys who come here are usually just looking for a haircut or a quick shave. I don’t try to sell them expensive products they don’t need. It’s just a chair, a mirror, and a pair of scissors. The shop is usually full on Sunday mornings because that’s when everyone has a day off. I see a lot of the same men every couple of weeks. We talk about cricket or what’s happening in the city. The area around Site No 1 can get a bit congested with traffic, but the shop itself is a nice place to sit for twenty minutes. I try to keep the floor swept, though it’s hard when you have a lot of customers. It’s a small business and I’m just trying to make a living like everyone else in Kanpur. Nothing fancy about it. Just a regular spot for a regular haircut. If you’re in F Block, you’ve probably walked past us many times already. We stay open late for the office workers coming home.
