Amba Parlour is our small business located in Pathak Market. If you are looking for us, we are in K-Block of Kidwai Nagar, right near the Ganesh Mittal Store. That store is a good landmark because everyone in Kanpur seems to know it. Our shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside. It’s just a regular door in a busy market. We have been here for a good amount of time, seeing the market change and grow. It’s often quite crowded around here, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We keep our space simple with just the necessary tools and a few chairs for waiting. It’s mostly just me and one other person working. We handle whatever comes our way, from simple trims to basic skincare. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern place in town. We just like serving the people who live nearby in the 208011 area. The floor is tile and we try to keep it clean, but with all the foot traffic from the market, it’s a constant job. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when there aren't any customers, just watching the people go by. It’s a friendly neighborhood. We know the other shopkeepers and we all look out for each other.
