Asba Beauty Parlour

I spend most of my days here at 133/4 M - Block in Kidwai Nagar. It is right in the Jangali Devi Market area of Kanpur. If you know this part of town, you know it gets quite busy around the shops. Asba Beauty Parlour is just a regular place where we keep things simple. Every morning I come in and unlock the door on Block Kidwai Road. The air in Kanpur can be a bit dusty, so the first thing is always wiping down the chairs and the mirrors. I’ve lived around here for a while and seen how the market changes. Some shops come and go, but we just stay here doing what we do. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find us easily enough. Sometimes I sit by the door when there are no customers and just watch the traffic go by on the main road. It is a loud street, especially in the evenings when everyone is out buying groceries or clothes in the market. We have a few old fans that hum while we work. I don't really know what else to say about it. It is just a shop in a busy block. We have the usual stuff you’d expect inside.
