Vv5 Salon

If you walk down Civil Lines near DAV College, you will find Vv5 Salon. Our address is 15/64 and we have been in Kanpur for quite some time. The 208001 area is always full of students from the college. They walk past all the time. Some of them come in when they need a trim before exams or after a holiday. It gets pretty loud with all the chatter. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in the world. We just wanted a shop where people could get their hair done without a fuss. Kanpur life is fast, but inside the salon, things slow down a bit. We have our regulars from the neighborhood too. Not just the students. The shop is a decent size. We keep the floor swept and the chairs ready. It’s mostly just hard work. No one here is a big manager. We all do the same work. Sometimes the rain makes it quiet, other times it’s packed. We just take it as it comes. Being in Civil Lines is nice because there are always people around. You can see the college building from near our door. It’s a landmark for us. We don’t do any of that fancy marketing stuff. If you need a cut, you just show up. That’s how it has always been for us at Vv5 Salon. We just keep things simple and honest every single day. The shop door stays open most of the time.
