Vidhi Beauty Parlour

We are situated over in Darshanpurwa, right near Gumti No 5 in Kanpur. The address is 119/435 if you are looking for the exact building. It's a bit of a crowded area but that is just how Kanpur is. We have been running this parlour for a while. It is a small space but we make it work. Most of the ladies from the neighborhood come here for their threading or hair oiling. We keep things very simple. There isn't any fancy decor, just the basic stuff we need to do our jobs. The room has a couple of chairs and some shelves for our supplies. We often have tea together with the customers when it isn't too busy. It feels more like a living room than a shop sometimes. People come here to get away from their household chores for an hour or so. We don't have any big marketing plans. Word of mouth is how most people find us. My family helps out with the cleaning and keeping the books. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common here, but we just carry on with what we can. We like being part of the Gumti No 5 area. It is a lively place to be. Every morning we open up early and sweep the front. It is a modest life but we are happy with it.
