U Like Hair & Face Care Centre

Our place is on Deep Talkies Road in Nirala Nagar, right across from the V Mart. If you know Kanpur, you know this area gets pretty crowded, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. We are at 127/311, a small shop where we do hair and face care. It’s been here for a while now. The walk-in traffic is mostly people who are already in the area for the market. I usually get here a bit early to sweep the front and get the chairs set up. We have a few big mirrors and those heavy barber chairs that lean back. It’s nothing like those big corporate salons you see in the malls. We just have our basic equipment and we try to keep things neat. The sign outside says U Like, and we’ve had that same sign since we opened. Sometimes the street noise is a lot, with all the bikes and cars going toward the main road. We keep a water cooler in the corner because people get thirsty waiting. The light inside is a bit bright, but it helps when you’re trying to get a haircut just right. We don't really do appointments much, people just show up and wait their turn on the plastic chairs near the door. It’s a busy little spot, and there is always something to do, whether it’s sharpening scissors or ordering more face cream for the shelves.
