Lovely Beauty Salon

Lovely Beauty Salon is over at 33-C, Shiv Katra Road in the Lal Bangla area. If you see the Durga Mandir, you are almost there because we are very close to it. It’s a good spot in Kanpur where a lot of people walk by every day. We opened this salon to give the neighborhood a place where they can get their beauty stuff done without traveling too far. The shop is cozy and we have decorated it with a few pictures and some plants near the window. We do hair cutting, coloring, and basic skin care. Nothing too over the top, just what people ask for most of the time. My mother started this place and now I help her run it. We have a small bench for people to wait on, and usually, there is a bit of gossip or friendly talk going on. The street outside can get a bit dusty, but we try to keep the inside clean and fresh for everyone. We use products that we know are safe and have used for years ourselves. Being near the Mandir means we get a lot of people stopping in after their morning prayers or on their way to the market. We don't have a big staff, so it’s usually just a couple of us working through the day. It is a quiet, steady business and we like the people who visit us. That is the long and short of it and we hope to keep going.
