Kanpur Habibs

We are based in the SGM Plaza over in Swaroop Nagar. It’s a well-known spot in Kanpur, so it’s easy for people to find us. The plaza is usually quite busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out and about. We’ve got our space at 7/135 on the ground floor. It’s where we spend most of our waking hours during the week. The mirrors are always being wiped down, and there’s usually the sound of hair dryers going in the background. It’s not a massive place, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need to keep things running smoothly for everyone who comes in. We’ve got a couple of chairs that have been with us since we first opened. They’re comfortable enough for a long sit. The staff here is like a small family; we’ve worked together for quite a while now. We don't really do the whole corporate talk or try to sound fancy. If someone walks in, we just see what they need and get to work on it. Sometimes we run behind schedule when a job takes longer than expected, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed for ourselves and the visitors. There’s always a bit of chatter and the smell of shampoo.
