Hazeel Saloon

Hazeel Saloon is located over at Shop No.8 in Raina Market. If you're familiar with V. I. P Road in Tilak Nagar, we're right there near Company Bagh. Kanpur is a busy place, and this market always has something going on. I opened this shop because I knew how to cut hair and didn't want to work for anyone else. It's a small place, not one of those big malls. We handle shaves, hair trims, and the basic stuff men usually need. The chairs are old but comfortable enough for a twenty-minute cut. My nephew helps me out sometimes when it gets crowded. Being near Company Bagh means we get a lot of people walking by after their morning or evening strolls. The weather in Kanpur is either too dusty or too rainy, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the mirrors and floors. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. People just know us from being in Raina Market for so long. Sometimes we talk about cricket while I work, or just the local news. It’s a decent living. I’ve seen kids grow up and start coming here on their own. That's the nice thing about a local shop. You aren't just a customer; you're someone I've seen around for years. We just try to do a solid job so people come back next time they need a trim. The floor gets covered in hair by noon, and the radio is usually playing. It’s just how it is.
