Shalimar Brushes

Shalimar Brushes is located in the middle of Khowa Bazar, specifically at 46/39. We’ve also got Post Box No. 115 if you’re sending us mail. Khowa Bazar is one of those old-school markets where things are always moving and it’s never quiet. Our shop is filled with brushes of all kinds. It can get pretty dusty with all the stock we keep around. We’ve been here for years, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy enough for us. There’s no polished showroom here. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we keep everything stacked up to the ceiling. People come in from all over the city because they know this bazar is where you get things done. We don’t use any complicated sales tactics. If you need a brush, we show you what we’ve got and that’s it. Some of the neighbors have been here as long as we have, so it feels like a little community. The morning rush in the bazar is always a bit chaotic, but we usually have our first cup of tea and get to work. It’s a simple life, really. We just focus on the brushes and making sure the inventory is right. We don’t have a big website or a social media team. It’s just us in the bazar, day in and day out. You can hear the vegetable sellers shouting from the corner outside the main entrance. Everything here is quite loud.
