The Scissor Sallon

The Scissor Sallon is located at 14/10C in Tilak Nagar, Kanpur. We are very easy to spot because we are right near the Rajeev Petrol Pump, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Our shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. There is usually a bit of a wait on Saturday afternoons, so we have some benches where people can sit and scroll on their phones or read the newspaper. We keep the mirrors clean and the scissors sharp. That is basically the core of what we do. The neighborhood of Tilak Nagar is a busy one, and we get a lot of guys coming in after work or on their day off. You can hear the sound of the clippers and the occasional car horn from the street outside. We have a few assistants who help with the washing and the cleaning up of hair from the floor. It is a constant cycle of someone coming in, getting their hair done, and moving on with their day. We don't use any big words to describe what we do; we just cut hair and trim beards. The light in the shop is bright so we can see every detail. It is a basic, hardworking environment where everyone knows each other's names after a few visits. We just like keeping things simple and local for the neighborhood folk who trust us with their look.
